India has taken another step towards its goal of vaccination for all against covid-19 and vaccination for children aged from 12-14 Years has started from 16 march Apart from children vaccination everyone aged 60+ will now be able to get precaution doses . The vaccine approved for children 12-14 years of age is corbevax manufactured by Hyderabad based Biological E. Limited in collaboration with the texas children’s Hospital center for vaccine development and Baylor College of medicine in Houston, Taxes
Registration for the vaccine will go live on march 16 and parents of the children who are between 12-14 years of age can register their slots with cowin APP.
How to Book vaccination slot for children using Cowin website
1. open cowin app and click on register sign in button which is placed on the top right corner.
2. login using your phone and OTP received
3. if you are using the same number you have used for yourself vaccine then click on Add member button if using a new number then directly tap on add member button.
4. fill the basic details like name photo ID proof Photo id number gender and date of birth and click on register button.
5. Choose your preferred date and time slot for vaccination of the child as per availability of the choosen centre and click on confirm.
